FORCES DYNAMICS

Concept of Forces

This is a unit of Grade 10 Physics, and dynamics, which is meant to introduce you the the study of forces and the  effect of forces on objects. You will explore the relationships between forces and motion, either for the stationary or moving object, as well as the other underlying effects.

At the end of this chapter, you should be able to:

  1. Explain what force is.
  2. Explain the effect of forces on bodies.
  3. Describe the inertia law
  4. Demonstrate the relationship between force and acceleration
  5. Demonstrate the relationship between mass and acceleration.
  6. Investigate the effect of force on a spring.
  7. Demonstrate the effects of friction on the motion of a body.
  8. Describe the motion in a circular path due to a perpendicular force.
